Meet the Team at Mundijong Hair

Hello Everyone, As some of you might already know I have owned Mundijong Hair salon since 2019. It has been such an experience owing my own business especially going through COVID lockdowns and making it through the other side which I have all our amazing supportive clients to thank!

So I’ve been in the Hair Industry for over 15years and am still very much passionate about what I do.

My team are honestly the best out hands down they are always there to help me when in need and help me keep this train on the tracks I couldn’t manage the salon without them I’ll be ever grateful for them!

The things I enjoy most in the salon would be foiling and creative colour work because every head of hair is different so it keeps me guessing!

Favourite product to use in the salon would be Delorenzo Amplify Spray it creates so much volume in the root area still allowing flexibility through the ends.

I dislike up styles the most, I can’t give you a solid reason as to why I think I’m just too heavy handed with the delicate business.

And my dream holiday would be either Maldives

or Canada

 Renee has been with my team since I took over the salon in 2019 however she has been at the salon since 2014.

With 20+ years of experience in the industry she has seen trends come and go and evolve over time.

Favourite salon product & Why?..
“My favorite salon product is Delorenzo Barrel Wave because it’s so versatile for clients with curly hair and it’s also great for blow drying”

Favourite thing to do in the salon & Why?..
“My favorite thing to do in the salon is hair ups because let’s me get creative.”

Hair trend your glad never stuck around? Or would exit the industry immediately?..
“Hair trend I hope never comes back is the flat top.”

Most disliked thing to do in the salon?
“I dislike doing balayage the most in the salon.”

Dream Holiday destination?
“Greek islands”

Jessy is our Newly Qualified Stylist

she has been apart of our team since January 2021 and qualified in November 2022.
She came to us as a 2nd year with limited experience with clients and a quiet demeanour and now she is a pocket rocket that is always laughing and having a good banter with our clients.

Favourite salon product and why?
“My favourite product would definitely be Delorenzo ET Equilibrium because it is super nourishing and benefits my blonde hair so much.”

Favourite thing to do in the salon and why?
“My favourite thing is definitely colouring and foiling, I have so much more flexibility in being creative and get to explore different techniques on my clients.”

What do you like to do on your days off?

“On my days off I spend time with the family catch up with all my friends / love a good pub feed , I also go to the gym A lot ( I’m a boring person haha sorry ) “
Most disliked thing to do in the salon?
“My least favourite thing to do in the salon would be cleaning the product shelf if I’m being honest

 Mackenzi is our emerging superstar she has been with the salon since December 2021 so you may have seen her around the salon doing all sorts of jobs.

Mackenzi has been progressing in the salon quite rapidly since starting her apprenticeship in June 2022, her eagerness to learn and get her hands dirty is just amazing

“My favourite product would be the Delorenzo defence extinguish thermal spray, I love knowing my clients hair is protected against hot appliances and how it minimises and protects heat damage, it always leaves my clients hair looking smooth with a shiny finish which just tops off the look all together”

Favourite thing to do in the salon right now & Why?
“My absolute favourite thing to do in the salon are foils, I love all the different techniques behind foiling and how it challenges me, my favourite time to foil is when a client wants to go lighter I just love a bright and blonde change to the hair”

What do you like to do on your days off?
“On my days off I love love love a big sleep in

i also like too binge watch Netflix shows, sometimes go on a shopping spree and hang out with friends “
